Not sure if this is the right sub forum, but here goes.

The company I work for is a big supporter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Every year they put on events to raise money. One of the events is a motorcycle ride to Breckenridge. I believe this is the third or fourth year they've done it. I joined for the first time last year (didn't have a motorcycle before that).

Last year we rode to Breck, had lunch, prize drawings and then everyone kind of went their own way afterwards. This time it's a little more organized with an "after party / BBQ".

There is everything from cruisers, sport bikes and three wheel bikes (including some custom made ones). Just thought I'd share the poster here in case anyone from here wanted to join.

This looks like a great ride and even better, a greater cause. I'll try to make this. So I'll have to contact Katie.Griffith to sign up?

Rumor has it they are trying to get a 50cc (kids) motorcycle as the grand prize and that instead of the bike you can also opt for the $$$ in credit (like $1,000 credit at the motorcycle store). But this is all hearsay!!!! So don't quote me on it!!!!

Terumo BCT, a global leader in blood component and cellular technologies, is the only company with the unique combination of apheresis collections, manual and automated whole blood processing, and pathogen reduction coupled with leading technologies in therapeutic apheresis and cell processing.

Is this more of a supply or research company? Is there a data center at the Quail location?

It's a medical device company. Our machines deal mostly with the separation and collection of the various blood components (red cells, platelets, plasma). We have a few other devices, but blood separation is our bread and butter. Each procedure requires a new disposable and we also manufacture and sell those.

The data center is (I believe) on Collins / Oak....not Quail.

I'm constantly passing that way and see the expansion project going on there. Good to know if my current job goes poof. Thanks and good luck with the ride. Would join but I work weekends.

I get off work at 7 AM Sunday, so I should be able to make it over to Wrigley's. What time do you expect that to start?

It'd be cool to make more charity rides but probably won't have a ride yet then, have fun fellas!

8:15 with KSU at 9:00. Or were you asking about the after BBQ? If so I'm not sure, but I could always text / email / post here when we are heading back down from Breck and you could kind of time it that way.

If I heard correctly, we're the largest employer in Lakewood, seems like we always have openings

Update:

"The grand prize for our drawing has arrived! This year we have a brand spanking new Yamaha PW-50 motorcycle to give away (or a $1200 credit at Colorado Power Sports) thanks to the generosity of a few Terumo BCT associates and Colorado Power Sports. This sweet ride (for a 4-7 year old) will be given away to one lucky guest at our BBQ at Wrigley’s after the ride. It will be a separate ticket ($10 each) and you do NOT have to be present to win. Contact Katie for your tickets NOW!"
