Anyone on here a (residential) structural engineer? I have this annoying metal pole center massed in my garage that is loose and seemingly doing nothing as far as "holding up" the bedroom 1/2 above it ... I need to see if it can be removed or even relocated a few feet to the right or left. ping me if you can help / know: jim . vance @ gmail . com Thanks!
