Figured I'd come up with a ride for us guys and gals up north, since it takes like an hour and a half to get to moco..

This Saturday 10/11/14, meet at Sandy's convenience store in Loveland. Let's shoot for KSU @ 9am, be there just after 8:30. Here's the link to the site meet spots. http://www.cosportbikeclub.org/forums/showthread.php?38272-Ride-Meet-Locations

It should only take about 45 minutes or so to get to Estes Park, which I'm assuming will be packed like it was two weekends ago on Saturday, so that'll be the slow part. The route is to head up to Estes, then take it across p2p to Lyons, and then take 36 back to Estes Park, and back down to Loveland. Here's the route. https://www.google.com/maps/dir/40.4099765,-105.160503/40.374915,-105.5092722/40.1872738,-105.4873352/40.2239172,-105.2705269/40.3730459,-105.489055/40.4095234,-105.1588429/@40.3655993,-105.3401817,12z/data=!4m2!4m1!3e0?hl=en

Let me know what you guys think, and I'll keep this thread updated. Pace will be moderately fast. I've only been riding for a couple of years, so if someone more experienced wants to take the reins and head up first or whatever, feel free!

I'll come out with you guys. According to weather.com, zero chance for rain forecast on Saturday in Estes.
I thought Trailridge road is closed by now, no? if so, I prefer to ride P2P anyway.

This is one of the few roads I really want to run, but have yet to do. It would be a little more than 100mi form me tho. If I didn't have an appointment in Durango on Sat for the recall on my bike I'd seriously entertain this ride. Have fun and ride your own ride.

The Durango thats an hour from Ouray. I'm not sure how long it would take to get to Denver from Durango. I thought it was more than 4 hours. I could be wrong tho.
