We're considering installing a new gas fireplace. I need someone qualified to run the gas line and also to install the vent. The vent will have to go out through brick. If you're capable of doing either, or both, please PM me so we can talk numbers. Just at the overall planning stage right now.

I've been wondering how much running a line would cost myself. Not a fireplace but a line to the garage for a ceiling mounted heater.

I paid $500 for my garage lines. One from the meter that spits into two inside the garage.

Gas Connection in Broomfield quoted $830 for the line and vent installation.

We've purchased our fireplace and scheduled the gas & vent installation. Any electricians here? I need a 110 line wired for the ignition system.

Curious as to ballpark cost for all of it....?

Fireplace with venting and tax - 1,100
Gas line install - 830
Electrical - 350ish
Materials - $1k ish
Permitting - 250ish

I'm building the interior surround and buying the stone veneer. Not sure yet if I'm hiring a mason to install it or do it myself.
