Hello,
I have gotten myself into some legal hot water... and would like a lawyer recommendation.
I was looking at some of these prepaid legal services, but the more I read about them the more bogus they seem... and I would just be better off getting a good lawyer as hopefully this will just be a one-off need...
Thanks! It's not motorcycle related per se, but motor vehicle...

Where are you located, and in what county will the charges be heard? I'm assuming this is traffic/dui or something similar? Details are none of my business, just need to know what type of lawyer you're looking for.

I've never had a bad lawyer, but this guy represented my last two speeding tickets, one was $400 the 6 pointer was $500. So I racked up 10 points in a week and was facing losing my license and got that reduced down to I believe 4 and kept my license. Just give him a call if it's speeding related (or anything traffic I guess, I doubt that many people lawyer up for tickets) and he'll talk about a plan and pricing.

Yea, unfortunately it's not a simple speeding ticket.
Arapahoe county is where my court is scheduled.
Thanks for the tip, I'll give him a call.

Your comment about them all sounding bogus made me think of this...

Completely OT, but I can't wait for that show. So I'll allow it.

I'm guessing you got a DUI. I am not giving legal advice, but having your lawyer represent you for the DOR Hearing and license action is a complete waste. Without extremely rare circumstances you're going to lose no matter what. Just saying.

I'm kind of thinking the car didn't turn off TC, turn off DSC, then mash the gas pedal. It probably had some driver input somewhere along the lines there!

I could wreck the shit out of a 700+HP car. Especially near my home town!

If you're local to the Springs, check out Mark Menscher. He's a really good lawyer and is a really good guy!
