Does anyone have an authoritive source that can readily explain the correct way of trail braking in a "vanishing point" diminishing radius curve with out becoming a hood ornament or guard rail trash. Please, keep this to a source/explanation from a qualified/certified authority.

I'm sure Nick L will chime in here along with MRA racers. Trail braking is amazing once you get used to it.

Good article. Also, the author does Sunset Rider Clinics focusing mostly on the trail braking topic at Pueblo Motorsports park that are very fun.

Attend the Sunset Safety Clinic. You'll get into detail about trail braking with Nick and Mark, who are both Yamaha Champions instructors and it will cost you a whole $100

I would third the recommendation of taking the Sunset clinic. Here's a video of the YCRS guys talking about it as well:

That video is the same instructor who does the Sunset Rider Clinic.

And these clinics are worth every penny spent.
