Just noticed in the birthday announcements today was Gene's birthday.
Every day I drive to work I pass Fairmont and say hey. We miss you!

Gene was almost in tears about how he was performing that weekend. And yup, all his shit is scattered in the wind. That boy needed three pits when he started working on something. I think I just got up and walked away when that was taken. That's my bike in the background.

BTW - Are there any 502 stickers still around? I replaced some parts on my dirt bike and the 502 was on one of the panels.

Happy B-Day man. He was born a year before me and when he passed was doing very well, I can only imagine how well he'd be doing nowadays. His folks and I always talk about what computer languages I'm currently using, very bittersweet. When Gene was alive we talked about the Ukraine but didn't talk much about his folks (we were 20) but I'd like to think they were just as supportive then as they are now.
