Does any one know anything about getting digital speedos calibrated?
Im re-gearing my f4i and since the speed signal is generated in the trans it will be farther off than it is now (10%).I know it is a 0 to 5 volt switched signal so im guessing that it is the frequency of the signal that determines speed. I also know that Superlift makes recalibrators for full size GM trucks and i was wondering if they might work.Any info would be greatly appreciated. thnx

You want a Yellow Box. I have installed these, basically you are correct in that it's just a pulsed signal - the yellow box intercepts that and modifies it based on a percentage you set with switches. Pretty easy to install if you have the wiring diagram, and the instructions also list the wires for the most part. (I'd just wire it right behind the speedo, it's fast access and the wires are a LOT easier to find that way.)
