Hey riders,
I just installed a undertail kit for my '03 636. I soldered the connections and all the signals work but they operate at hyper speed. Is there not enough resistance? To much voltage? Am I in danger of frying any fuses of connections? Any ideas would help thanks.

in this case, resistance is NOT futile.

Monky's right, you need a load resistor. Assuming you got led signals. The bigger outfits selling led bike stuff can set you up.

or you could just leave it as is, nothing will be harmed

Motaboy picked up those resisters a month or so ago. Hopefully they're working for him.

:imwithstupid: after I put in a integrated tail light on my 1000, they blinked really fast... it's not going to hurt anything... and I think it grabs more attention since it's not the standard slow blink that everyone is used to.

Ya it took a while but I finally got the blinkers back to normal. I picked up a flash regulator from Custom LEDS and it was a simple plug in. Thanks to Princess for the recommendation and to Barn for letting have his resistors. Unfortunately I didn't the resistors because I didn't know how to hard wire them. Any way it was pretty cheap fix. Thanks again to all who replied. ;)
