I actually am having a lot of fun. I know more about this bike now than I could have ever learned if I took it to someone else to do the work for me. PLUS, I know it is getting done right :)

Wheels went to powdercoating today and tha rest of the parts go to paint this weekend :)

Let me know if any of you want Silvbullit to paint parts for you. He is a VERY good painter and has very reasonable prices. I trust him with my pride and joy!

I've been toying with the idea of repainting my R1. Any idea what he might charge for it?

I am not really sure what he charges for entire bikes. Shoot him a PM :) You can ask for references too. He just finished painting a bunch of race bikes and has a good customer base.

I recomend starting out with two larges boxes...one for extra peices, and one for crap you don't need...being that it is a Honda, you should be able to divide evenly between the two. :D


BTW, haven't seen you in like 2 weeks...how you doing? You and Linda gonna join us at Rio's this week, or go to the "usual place"?

We may be at RIO's. I have sold a LOT of stuff from the bike on ebay to pay for what it is costing me to do all the upgrades and stuff so there are not a lot of extra parts left. Spares for a Hawk go for a premium price. I could have purchased 2 more Hawks already for what I have made from the parts.
