Juan, you coming all the way up from New Mexico for a ride?
Thats what I call dedication.

Bugkiller, the reason we picked that location is easy access to I70 west.

Denverbusa,Looks like maybe Thursday, more likely Friday.
To many parts to paint in one shot in the booth.

See you folks on Saturday.

Neil, I just spoke to Mark and he said that sounded like a great idea. He should be there. He just got a new exhaust system on the 10. I'm sure it is going to be real quiet now.

See ya Sat. AM.

Aspen is approx 170 miles (each way) by the route we are taking. You can get back a quicker way if time is short. It only saves about 20 miles but its mostly on I-70 and the time is cut way down.

I'll be headed that way, but earlier in the day. I'll look for you guys on the road. Where is Twin Lakes Road and how can I identify the group.

Thanks,

Twin Lakes Road is really Hwy #82.
The two groups are meeting where Hwy 82 and Hwy 24 intersect at approx noon.
It is south of Leadville, north of Buena Vista, and east of Twin Lakes.
See everybody there,be safe and ride your own pace.

Did anyone go? Met a few cool people and went on a shorter ride today over 6-passes. Squaw, Juniper, Loveland, Hoosier, Red Hill & Kenosha.
(Basically that Noob-ride in reverse)

Lunch at the Brown Burro in Fairplay was mighty fine.

A Triumph broke his gearshift linkage. And we had to improvise with Mr. Vise Grip Hand Shifter.

Aspen ride was so so... Independence pass would have been alot more fun if we were not cought behind another group of bikes and alot of potholes, uneven pavement. On the way back we got cought in heavy rain going over the pass and pretty much all the way back to Denver... glad I had my rain gear.

What kind of bikes did you get caught behind?
