I know this has been beat w/a stick but curiosity alone made me post this question. I have a 93 ZX6E w/K&N and V&H pipe and was wondering if I should attempt changing and playing w/the jets. The bike runs fine but this is my 1st bike. I've rode quads/motorcycles my whole life and I always jetted them. The bike isn't scary fast like I thought it would be. If it seems to run ok should I attempt this? I believe it's stock jets now!
Thanks in advance!

It hasn't really been beat too bad because most everyone has fuel injection, so not much jetting talk 'round these parts. If you want it do right and quickly, just take it to a shop. TK Motorsports or Faster would be a couple of good choices. If it has sea level jetting it should be changed.

If it runs well, leave it alone. A jet kit won't make it scary fast. On the other hand, if you're bored or have money to burn, why not? JMO.

would a jet kit and dyno tune really help a carbed bike? I was thinking of getting a new bike, but it will be carbed. Then I started looking at FI becasue everyone says its worth it, but I lose 300cc's if I do.

so does a jet kit and dyno tune really help it?

Help it do what? Run correctly? I'm guessing you're looking at an older carbed 900 vs newer FI 600?
