Best day of the week for Watkins?

I'm wanting to take my son back to Watkins before school starts up. What is the best day of the week to go? Probably take a day off work to avoid the weekend crowds. Do they water/work the track on a particular day during the week? Thanks for any info.

Fairly light crowd on any weekday. I usually go on a Monday or Tuesday. There is no track prep on weekdays or on the smaller tracks anytime.
