My buddy has a 98 GSXR750 thats engine shuts off after 20 mins. It doesn't seem to matter if it is idleing or going full bore at the track.
The problem started after a cylinder rebuild A shop installedthe wron spark plug and well). I am sure there is something that occured during the rebuild but not sure where to look. Could it be losing vaccum? or Is there a thermal shut off and there is something wrong with the temp? Not sure where to begin looking.

Any Help Would Be Great

You need to put more than half a gallon of gas into it.

Kidding... sorry no idea!

Maybe an ignition coil that's getting hot and cutting out? Spark plug wire? Fuel pump?

How long does he have to wait after it cuts out for it to start again?

Does it just die, or does it run badly and then die?

more info needed for sure

GAS! oh crap .. I'll pass that along.

Kidding

I figgured more info was needed I just didn't know which info. As far as I know it just dies. According to him it could be idleing in the garage or full out at the track.
I will ask the other questions and get back.

I knew I could count on this forum for some help and some joking around
