Tinkered around on my Honda today. We over-gapped the spark plugs by a hair (they were running about .010 under what the manual recommended) and added an in-line fuel filter. She runs so much nicer! She is kind of spunky, now, and actually picks up when you ask her to.:yumyum:

Looked for a new air filter, as the one in there is really grody. The guy at Performance Cylce said that K&N used to make the filter, but have discontinued it. Thought about putting pods on it which, though it would modify it from the classic, would be really friggin cute. However, talked to someone who said they put pods on a really old bike and it never really ran the same so they had to go back to the stock air filter. Anybody know about old bikes? Any advice?

Pods will require rejetting and syncing of the carbs and are finicky with elevation and weather changes (and being this is CO, we can have both those in the same ride). They also don't really flow more air than most standard filters in the airbox, so if you can find a filter that fits in your airbox I'd go with that and avoid the pods.
