Hi Everyone -

Another newbi here and I wanted to know if there are any individuals or groups that go ride during the week? I just got my bike a few months ago but not new to riding & was hoping to meet some seasoned riders who'd be willing to share their experience & welcome someone new to the sport.

If not, I look forward to at least joing you all this coming Sunday. Thanks for allowing me to participate in this group & I look forward to meeting everyone.:)

I'll be more then happy to let you know what I know. I've been riding even before I learned how to drive. Just let me know when's a good time for you and we'll see what can be done.

Thank you so much for the response. I live in HR, ride an R6 and have the next couple of weeks off to learn what to do & what NOT to do on my bike. So anytime during the day would be great. If anyone's available tomorrow afternoon, Thursday or Friday morning I'm open. :)

Thanks again - Slo1299 & Bassil Duwaik, I look forward to meeting you both.

I'm in aurora and am going for a ride sometime Thursday morning to get a tire put on my bike. If you want I can meet you in highlands ranch and we can ride out to get my tire put on. He's also a good with what all the little ins and outs of doing various things to bikes will do. i.e. tighter suspension, steering dampers, sprockets. Just pm me your number and I'll let you know the details. We won’t be at his shop long, so we’ll get some riding in.

I could probably take a ride up the "Creek Canyons" with you one of these afternoons, it wouldn't be 'till 4:30 or so.
Only catch is you'd have to be seen with a SuperMoto.

And I work a rotating schedule that gives me at least two weekdays off every week. Shorter rides (2-4 hours) are better for me so I have time to do other things as well.

If you make it up north, let me know. I could be persuaded to change my work schedule.

Hey, looks like we might be getting a good crowd - if anyone else would like to join us we plan on meeting at the usual local (Conoco gas station in Morrison).

Meeting at 9:00am leaving at 9:30 sharp. Would love to have more peps so come along if you can - some of us do have to work in the afternoon so it won't be too long of a ride, about 100-150 mi. Will be deciding on destination when we meet.

For those of you we don't see tomorrow we'll most certainly see you on Sunday.:)

I ride on my days off Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays. However I am a newbie as well. Going w a friend to check out Look Out Mountain Road tomorrow Fri Sept 14th about 10 am. He is driving his new Car Mazda Speed 6. He used to be a professional instructor in the UK. Gave it up because of the family, until I made him test drive my first street bike last month. Now he has permission, but has to wait until next summer.

In any event, i look forward to his instruction and observations. Drop me a line if your ever interested in a newbie chill ride.

Also looking for a group ride to scope the Aspens change Sept 20th to 23rd

If you are at least semi confident on the roads (don't freak out at 65 MPH) feel free to show up. I have no problems letting a new rider tag along with me, and who knows, even though I am just a silly girl, you might just learn something.
I recently taught my husband to ride, and successfully took him over Kenosha pass, Hoosier pass, and Loveland pass last weekend without killing him (he has had his liscense maybe 2 months)...and if I didn't kill him, you have nothing what so ever to worry about by riding with me.

And we better watch out on the HR rides...I mean, we wouldn't wanna become snobs like the NC crew :D

Now if we just talk her into a bike then at least there will only be 3 or 4 zeroes in the price. If she chooses a Carrera then we are talking 5 zeroes  - and that's gotta hurt the wallet.

So, if you can join us would be great! But please - no carrrera's, some of us would like to get around the track at least once. :)

It looks like a few of us live/work in Douglas County/Highlands Ranch. I own a business so I can ride during the week. I ride from home (foothills west of Sedalia) to my office (Highlands Ranch) almost daily and break away for a ride and lunch or after work a few times per week. Anyone interested? Usually Deer Creek Canyon to Turkey Creek to 285, etc. I always like company. I ride a bit quick, but can slow down or speed up.

We can meet if you wish in my office parking lot (1 block off of C470 on Lucent) or anywhere you want. Maybe ride to Fairplay or Breckenridge for lunch via 285.
