Just bought a 04 GSX-R 1000 from a private owner..

It's time for the 4k service, and I'm not sure where to bring it.

I also need some brake work done, it's shuttering the last few feet when I stop, so I think I need pads/possible roters.

Do not take it to GRAND PRIX MOTORSPORTS. I bought my bike there and sprung for the "Performance Gold Service Card." I can't even begin to tell you the damn horror stories I've had. :(

I like twin peaks. I've used them a few times and I haven't had any problems. Nice staff and quick turn around.

It's too bad about GRAND PRIX, I look at bikes there all the time...

It seems like such a professional, clean, organized business....

But I've heard that they are not the best...Too bad the mega-dealers can't get it together with a quality staff/workmenship

I keep hearing that smaller moto-shops are the way to go, and to generally avoid the dealerships....
