Wow!!! Fricken crazy! Now that's what I call "hard core" riding.

So, why are ya 'handicapped'? Do tell.

I had pics of riding my old YZ250 2 smoke at Rampart in December but I they are not digi. so I can't post them if I could find 'em.
But this was my conveyance a couple of winters ago.

These are all pretty old- I'm strictly "soft core" now :D

Had most of my spine fused 9 weeks ago. I'll be able to ride in anger after January when the bone grafts heal but the docs tell me I won't be 100% for a year. It's been 9-10 months since I had a decent dirt ride. It's not easy: Now that I'm off the walker, the wound is healed and I can drive by myself, I feel like I should be on a bike now. One decent fall would put me in worse shape than the day they rolled me out of surgery.

DAMN DUDE!!!

We should organize a "Dysco can ride again" ride in January when it's cold as hell.

Lake City, CO July 2001

Rider missed the 20mph bridge and drowned the bike in the river. The turn signal is still blinking. The local tow company yanked the bike out of the frigid waters like a marlin at weigh in.

Scoliosis and kyphosis- 40, 57 and 100 degree curves respectively. I grew 2" and my spine is pretty much back to "normal". At most "motorcycle" functions, people assume I wrecked. I enjoy telling my bike-nervous mom that genetically it was all her fault...

Freakin' genetics anyways...my kids got the "how big can we grow genes":)

Well, as long as you get to continue riding...albeit a lot more mellowed.

Mellow shmellow. As soon as the bone grafts heal I'm training for Baja. :siesta: Never had a good ride without back pain. I'm loooking forward to taking a bad landing and not regretting it for three days.
