Well another fine ride. It really wasn't in the canyons but it was close to them for a while. Note: Always make sure the fuel petcock valve is in the ON position and not the RSV setting. Siphoning gas and finding fuel cans can be a pain in the arse.

Well, once we got gas back in the DR I couldn't believe how fast it went! 210mph, dragging my sneakers! (which is pretty incredible considering they were strapped to the back of the bike!) That wheelie, stoppie, wheelie, double-360 backflip stewie did on the Kwaker was pretty amazing too.

210? That's all you could get out of the run from Black Forrest to Parker??? Say, there are a couple of good "neighborhood routes along that run. Great stuff for when the twisties clog up with snow.

Woulda hit 250 but it's a DR650, plus John's fizzer 400 only does 215 max.

Damn I am pissed I had to work :(

You guys all know that having Stewie on a ride is a liability right? ;)

He was somewhat subdued as he had his better half with him on the back:)

Nope --- not at all. It was FZRGuy's ride and it was all I could do to get my a$$ outta the rack and go on the ride. Don't worry ----- we will do it again ---- sans hangover.:drink:

Quoi? Que? Wha? Lia-what? :)

Just cuz I'm dead sexy and have never crashed don't be jealous :)

For those of you with no idea of the back story, ralph "traded temporarily" (think escaped) his bike for the fzr and after about 2 minutes of rearview w/o John we went back to find him without gas, so using my MacGyver skills I busted a straw and water bottle out and used my Pet-Cock :hump: to give some gas to ralphie's DR.... (which he may or may not have run out of before making it to the next gas station)

Well, there could be a discrepancy or two in this story, but the pics don’t lie. We’ll do the full Elbert loop next time. It’s actually shorter than what we ended up riding with all the gas fun we had. And anyone is welcome to go…so long as you can drag tennis shoes at 210!
