Needed a little helmet time so rode up to the top of Squaw pass and had a great ride. Snow up to edge of the road but they didn't sand and there was no water running onto the road. Take the warm gloves as it got brisk, but not cold. I was surprised at how few cars were on the road. Only ran into two vehicles and they were easily dispatched.
I left at 5:00 so the sun was bad on several corners but it sure made the aspens beautiful. If you have the time it was a gorgeous ride that time of day.
Do watch out for the deer and elk as the snow pushed 'em down. Saw about 10 each on the pass and Evergreen is crawling with elk.
