I think I saw your bike at the Denver Vehicle Impound, 303-295-4365. Give them a call with your VIN and they will be able to confirm if your bike is there.

Yeah got the bike back last week, seems that the Westminster PD never reported the bike recovered to me. Went to a hearing but that was a waste of time, spent 480.00 getting the bike out and yes it's got damage to both sides and triple clamp, locks punched out, guess they wanted to check the trunk to see if there was anything valuable??? Just a honda spraywax and a rag haha.

Anyways, from a spotless bike to a damaged one.....kind of like a woman, once she been with someone else, you don't want it back.

That sucks...I know a place out in New Jersey for cheap OEM plastic. Let me know if you want to check out there prices.

I wonder if they will expect me to paint the bike....or get new stickers and plastic for the damages....

I have Geico....anyone with experience in this?

I had Geico when someone hit my Duc in a parking lot and left it to lay. They went for the new plastics route saying that they'd never seen repairs done all that well. Adjuster was there in a day, check was written and issued in three. All in all a pretty good experience.

Ducati took well over a month to deliver the parts, but that wasn't the insurance company's fault.

I have Geico too, but no claims.....yet. Let me know if they are a pain in the a$$ to deal with.
Do you still owe $ on the Busa? If so, I think you're required to fix it back to at least back to new condition.

Installed a Scorpio Alarm System with all the bells and whistles on my '01 Busa. If anyone is interested in having this system installed on there machine I can do it! But right now I'm unemployed and would appreciate some kind of monetary compensation for the install. Fay Meyers wanted anywhere between $200 to $300, and I can asure you I will come in alot less then that. I also know the cheapest place to buy this top of the line alarm system!!! Protect your investment, and have the job done right. If your interested or have any questions post up or send me a PM.

So Geico Adjuster came out to my place while I was at work and left an estimate for about 4k, and that is just for cosmetics. I am surprised so far, they even considered a very small scratch on the exhaust and tank for full replacement. So far they have treated me pretty well. I hope the shop doesn't find more issues with it.
