Was a little cold and a little wet. Too bad I didn't get a shot of the ice on my jacket and bibs. I took the pics because it's the only time in 2 years of doing this my front brake failed- it iced over.

I've done that before with a yamaha 650 special II. The only vehicle I had on the road in a crappy NY winter. Life is just too complicated.

I have complete respect for anyone who rides in the cold who hasn't invested in as much gear as I have. If I wasn't wearing $650 worth of bibs, boots, and jacket, there's no way I could do my 30 mile commute.
