Pic taken at Daytona. Obviously prior to the incident. He's one angry rider...

Teknic Response to Aaron Yates’ actions at Daytona 200 presented by Arai
Like many fans and spectators we were shocked and surprised by Aaron's
reaction to the crash that took place at the Daytona 200 presented by Arai.
We are grateful that neither Mr. Fania nor Aaron were seriously injured in
the crash or in the aftermath. We feel that his behavior was very
unprofessional and unacceptable. We would like to stress that Specialty
Sports Limited/Teknic does not condone this type of behavior and it does
not reflect the image or beliefs we wish to portray to consumers, the
industry and the sport as a whole.

Aaron will be financially penalized for his behavior and resulting suspension
by the AMA.

GOOD! I'm glad to see the other sponsors start to raise the :bs: flag. It sets a precedent that the ones who supply the money won't tolerate it and don't condone it. While I'm sure they're also protecting their own image (no one wants to be associated with that), it's still good to see.

I don't know though... The sponsers are coming out and making a statement, but basically all they are saying is, "Don't associate Yate's actions with us!".

If they really wanted to show that they are making a statement to show they don't tolerate that stuff, they should make Yates wear a bright pink and yellow leather suit with daisies all over it, with "I've got anger management problems" stiched in all over it.
Basically make him regret his actions!

I like your style of punishment! Ever consider a career as a judge?

See the tecknic leathers commercial? It's pretty fun "Introducing the newest member of the teknic family". I think I would air something different for a while if I ran teknic's marketing.
