That's funny, I have that exact same all-in-one, HP5510. I use it everyday and it has always worked perfectly. As a matter of fact, all my printers are HP. And they all kick ass. My plotter has been running for 6 years and has never even had a paper crash. Still on the original print heads and cutter, too.

HP 500 (42" wide color plotter)
HP 5510 (all-in-one)
HP D7360 (Just got this one and it rocks!!!)

So, yesterday I said I'm still on the same printheads after 6 years...

Well, I go to print out a project today and the black printhead needs replacing...

I guess I shouldn't have said anything...

SHOOT IT!! SHOOT THE MUTHA!!!Yeah, I don't think so!!! Unlike the 5510, which cost $150, the DesignJet 500 cost $4,000...

Just got back with new printheads and she's back in business...

Oh baby! I can aim with the best of em...instead of recruiting you arrogant boys for my tech support positions, I'll just go get an AK. Should put me around $95K annually in salary....and just for using a gun...
Ha....good one Dana....loved it!

OOhh....well it would've been fun to do it.....I am glad to hear that you got'er up and runnin' againThere was never an issue of getting it back running. I just thought it was funny that the day after I say I haven't had to replace a print head in the 6 years I've had it, and then one head fails the next day.
