Is it necessary to put a gasket sealant when putting slipon pipes on your bike? I ask this as I did not put any sealant on my Jardines, but just purchashed a used set of Sato's that had evidence of a sealant used.

Also, how difficult would it be to take the pipes back off with the sealant being applied?

Thanks,

Jason

I had to use sealant when I put on my Akropovic exhasut on the 10. I still think I have the tube if you want Jason. :)

When I talked to Performance Cycle about my exhaust the full system doesn't have sealant, or the "crush" washer's that the slip-on system does.
