TFOG charges you 20% over cost on all special order stuff. It's about the same as any of the cheapest online places that I have found.

Definitely check locally if you don't have a chain rivet tool. I've had several great experiences with http://www.sprocketcenter.com and http://www.kiernanracing.com has the best price I've seen on the DID520ERV racing chain, $107 I think, but their shipping can sometimes be slow, I've had mixed experiences with them.

Chadwick- I found a guy online selling them for $140; that's Vortex sprockets and an RK gold chain. My friend and I (guy with 01 f4i) are planning to order ours VERY soon here. If you want we can buy them all together to possibly save some on shipping. :)

I seem to hear that alot about the vortex rear sprockets so far. But then again, MV also races a 03 gscr 1000!

I did the 520 conversion on my 01 gsxr and I went with vortex sprockets and the RK gold chain, I haven't had a problem yet and they've been on there for about 3,000 miles, I also heard SprocketSpecialist is a really good company

Definitely check with TFOG. Those guys are the shit. I find them to be cheaper than any of the websites and they're base d out of golden. Nothing like supporting local stores!

I've lost a couple teeth off the Vortex spockets that came with the race bike :x Just ordered a couple hardened Afam sprockets through TK. Also got my DID520ERV racing chain from TK as they had them in stock.

Check with these guys.

I got a 520 VM for like 70 bucks. Super prompt shipping. Great to deal with. I sound like ebay feedback.

Anyways. The one experience I had with them was very good.

Give Bart or Brian at TK Motorsports a call 720 904 9040, they most likely have what you need in stock, if not they will get it fast and at a good price. Tell them Hanna sent you :D

Ok from my experiance do not go with smaller shops like TK and TFOG and count on them having anything in stock when you need them. TFOG failed me numerous times my first year of racing with tires even when I would give them a few weeks heads up on needing special tires. TK failed me badly last year when I went to them for a part that I was assured would be in there trailers at every race. I went to them in a two week crunch to rebuild a bike after a 130mph highside. I would contact MCF or Vanmar they might not have the part in stock but they will bend over backwards to get you the part in a timely manor. They really hook up racers but they still work street guys too.

Sean, things have changed considerably at TK since last year. They also have a decent amount of inventory in the shop now :D
