I have a 03' R-6 and am debating about what to do with my rear fender. I saw that the Hotbodies undertail is like $200. When I looked at 1-Tail from the link on here I found a "Works" kit that has the license plate frame, the rear signals, front signals and an induction mesh for $179. What do you guys think??? I know that I can not put the undertail on myself and would have to have someone do it for me. When I check at GPM they want like $200 just ot install the undertail. Just lookin for ideas and feedback. Thanx!!!

Make one like I did for free. Just takes about 1/2 hour to cut, sand and a few hours to do several coats of black pain over primer. Tip: street signs make GREAT fender elminators. Save yourself the cash. NOT worth it. I got pics I can post up when I find them of the one I made.

Isn't the undertail on the 03 R6 already painted. If so, really all you need to do is get rid of that big piece that holds the turn signals and license bracket, right? To get rid of the turn signals, MD Wright will integrate them for you. (http://www.flashalert.com/integrator.htm) The only thing you really lose is a light for the license plate. They used to supply a "free license plate bracket" that's basically a piece of bent sheet metal, and it looks really good. By the way, I have this kit on my bike and am VERY happy with it. (I have a '99 R6 with the '01 undertail/led tail lights on it). You do need to send them your tail light assembly and they'll modify it and sent it back to you. It takes about a week. OR, for a few bucks more, you can trade them yours for one of theirs. They send theirs out and charge you double. When they receive yours, they refund most of the extra. Check them out.

You'd be amazed what you can do with a light integrator from Performance, and a dremel tool... ;)

Isn't the undertail on the 03 R6 already painted.I was wondering the same thing. If so, then a $4 piece of edging plus a set of ~$17 short stalk turn signals, some paint (if you want), a little elbow grease, and you're done. :D
