Figured we might need a separate topic for this issue...

Harry, I found your answer. Warchild put a very detailed how-to on his blackbird website for installing a 4.7g aux cell which explains how the fuel gets to the tank without leaking out your overflow or exploding.

How many gallons does your main tank hold?


The people who made it have installed them on Harleys and they have a picture of a cell on you bike (but they all look the same to me :D ) http://www.blm-accessories.com/acc_list.htm#hd

The levers they are using on all of the cells are hoss. I want one.

I went out to measure my passenger seat to see just how large I can go and wouldn't you know it......my tour pack,(trunk) rack is snapped in two!

I was aware that I was going to need to brace it for added strength and actually asked about that Saturday. It was most likely already snapped by then. That could be my shorting problem with the flickering lights.

Thanks again both of you for the Summit cells. Excellent prices. I'll be contacting them soon.
