    Insurance

Since the site crashed and erased all my p/ms I need to get the guys info again. It was in regards to full coverage on a sport bike. This was about 3-4 months ago. Hopefully you see this and send me a p/m with your details again. Or if anyone else thinks they can help, first time rider looking for full coverage on a 600cc sport bike. Thanks all!

    Re: Insurance

All State. Common, you haven't seen all the commercials where they crashed motorcycles? I'm $200/yr for full coverage on two 750's. I'm also in my mid 30s with no claims or tickets. Now /thread

Do you have just your motorcycle on it? My insurance only offers liability on motorcycles.

This'll be one of those "everyone likes something different" threads, but I second State Farm.

    Re: Insurance

all "full coverage" is not equal. The differences usually come in the personal property maximum and personal injury coverage.

    Re: Insurance

$30k would barely cover the helicopter ride from peak to peak highway to the trauma center, let alone whatever treatment you need after that. Pretty sure mine is $100k per individual.

Run one Hummer off the road and you've already exceeded your $30k max in personal property damage

    Re: Insurance

your primary care insurance doesn't cover your passenger or someone else you may be found guilty of injuring. Wreck another bike and that guy and/or his passenger needs to be airlifted - you're paying the bill.

    Re: Insurance

I'm no insurance expert, just play one on the interwebz. But it's important to discuss with your agent when shopping rather than just look at the lowest monthly price.

I once rearended a mini-van while distracted by a hot chick.

Then in my young ignorance, I wrote the check rather than have them file a claim not realizing what liability I opened myself up to. Fortunately, everything worked out.
