Do you have a perforated and non-perf jackets, or just one?

Ok, this may be a stupid question, but I am not afraid to go there.

I have a perf jacket now, which I like but can be a little chilly.

I have the opportunity to get a non perf jacket for a decent price.

    Overkill or good idea?

My jacket is perf. Bought it when I lived in Georgia, so it was a no brainer. When I ride here in CO, I often find myself freezing my gnarlies off.

I would buy another one, but I just steal my wife's textile jacket when it gets chilly.

A variety of good gear is NEVER overkill. I have a perforated Vanson jacket, Rocket textile, 1pc Teknic (track), 2pc Alpinestars (street), etc...

Invest in versatile gear designed to handle all types of conditions - Teknic makes some really cool stuff this year that fits into that category.

I've heard that's not the only thing you wear of your wife's.

You can never have too much gear- ask anyone who's been in my kitchen

I have a mesh jacket and a textile jacket - both with full (sleeved) removable liners. I say get the jacket - being relatively comfortable makes the ride that much more pleasureable.
