    Re: Racing 2 Save Lives

I'm heading up Friday. If anyone needs a bike hauled or wants a lift, PM or call me. I was planning on taking my single trailer, but I also have a 20ft flatbed that can haul quite a few bikes/gear, and can probably get a 2 or 3 bike if needed.

    My cell is 321-271-9520.

    Scott,
I have the bed in but might add a small diamond plate storage box in the front for straps, gas cans, etc. I'm going to make a trip to harbor freight this weekend and see what I can find.

This is going to cost you Soihban!

Evian is the only water acceptable for the Kwak. I might hit you up Sunday then.

Yo DK... Since I'm never 100% sure when you're kidding or not....
    About the Evian...

Not to say that it won't work, but idealy you don't want to use that stuff. I know you're kinda particular about your bike, so spare yourself the expensive mineral water, and get yourself some distilled H20.

If it makes you feel any better, you don't even have to buy the supermarket's brand, you can get you some expensive distilled somewhere, I'm sure.

    DK,

I have the ability to distill water for you if you want. I'll put it in a fancy bottle and give it a fancy name for you too if you like. It will be a custom, one of a kind distilled water blend....JUST FOR YOU!

What do you say....the evian you're buying is about 6.40 a gallon....I'll sell you the custom blend for $5.00 a gallon....how much do you need? Hell....for that I'll even pre-mix it with Water Wetter for you!

Now just for your own entertainment, take Evian and spell it backwards...

I will get some distill water and put some gold flakes in it so the Kwak finds it acceptable.

So back to this R2SL thing...Is there a reason that they have to be out of state? (if its in here somewhere im way too lazy to look for it) Based on the various convos that ive had (mostly with racers) It seems in a greeance that we would get much more participation from this Co crowd if it was in a closer location.. I dont know too many ppl that will travel that far for that type of personal expence, when if it was closer they could donate more to the cause..my .02

It's mainly due to the lack of track facilities in Colorado. We'd either have to hold it at IMI (not gonna happen) or at Pueblo, which isn't necesssarily in the greatest shape. The original plan was to have the 2006 event back at PPIR, but once that was shut down, we had to find a new facility and fast! We were invited to hold our event at Miller (an $80 million dollar facility).. and who could say no to that It's a beautiful large facility, allows us to have up to four events going on at once, and helps promote the national awareness we hope to have one day.

Where in CO would you even have it? After PPIR closed, its my understanding Miller was the closest facility that could support the cause.

Its only 9 hours Brizz, thats not too far!

    Re: Racing 2 Save Lives

Well a lil birdy told me that PPIR will be once again open...And we dont need to be the only ones hosting this different states can get their own chapters and do it as well...This group would be more suited to doing it in their own back yard due to expence.

And true PMI is not suited for this type of event.

Yeah 9 hours from Denver..Im in Ks on the east side! So way too far out of my league. Looks like ill be donating from a distance and not do any participation..Maybe others will follow..It is a great cause.
