    1974/72 Yamaha RD/R5 350

Nothing "farmed out" personally rebuilt or replaced 80%.
That's right, for a mear $1000 and 4 months labor you too can have an $800 cafe racer.

(Paint job = $8 of Flat Black and Red Rustoleum paint.
Baked on everything but the frame (too big to fit in the oven)).

Slo. Love the clean look of the Gix (and the 502). You probably ride passengers, but a trick carbon hanger for your pipe and yanked pegs would look all kinds of SPIES.

Do Suzuki's still come standard with seat cowls a la the SRAD's?

Thanks man.... but yes, I do ride 2-up quite often, not as often as last year though. I still need a PC for the GSXR and get it tuned..... Just trying to figure out if I should keep this bike and get the usual; rear sets, levers, wheels, ceramic wheel bearings, etc......

But yes, they do come with the solo seat cowls. I think my past 04' zx10r was the only bike I have purchased in the past few years that did not come with one.

From what the dealer told me yesterday. Suzuki is the only manufacture that is still adding the rear seat cowl. I know for sure that Kawi isn't doing it. Nice bikes Jay!

    Re: Show off your bike!

    THIS was my bike:

She ended up being a casualty to me listening to a self-serving over-dominant she-bitch who never liked me owning a motorcycle.

Fortunately - she (the bike - not the psycho bitch) is in the hands of a loving owner who is also on the CSC.

    Then...

THIS became my unicorn -- which I VERY briefly caught:

Which THEN became a casualty of my divorce from the ver-dominant she-bitch who never liked me owning a motorcycle.

No idea where she (the unicorn of a motorcycle) went.

    Right now I'm sans-motorcycle

Anyone planning on getting a divorce and want to one up their hateful soon-to-be-ex and sell me their bike for like $10.00?

I didn't know that was your Busa.
I've seen it before. Love the custom paint job.
But really, what's up with you Southern Boys and that stretch thang?

    She misses you too.
She's always going on about "Vance" this and "Vance" that.
"Vance used to buy me PREMIUM gas."
"Vance used to be easier on my throttle."
"Vance used to wax me every week."

I think she's just trying to make me jealous.

I plan on drag racing it this year at Bandimere, but theres still many changes that are going to happen to the bike....
Frame will be powdercoated black, new swing arm (braced)
    new wheels
possible full motor build (for boost)

For years I wanted a turbo'd bike for drag racing but never did it, I have the GSXR to keep near stock for twisties and occasional track days, but the busa will be going through surgery soon and get finished.

    Sorry...
All the profits are going to pay the ridiculous amount I pay the ex wife monthly. I see none of it - so there's not of it to share.
