I didn't start my motorcycle this whole winter and now the battery is dead. Can I jump start it from my car battery, or can I use a regular car charger to charge the motorcycle battery? Thank you!

Ouch....your battery is probably totally drained and dead.
If you do jump it off your car, do NOT turn your car on just put the cables to the battery.
Yes, you can use a car trickle charger on your bike, they work great during the winter months to keep your cycle battery fully charged!

Thank you!
The key word in this statement is "trickle". A typical car battery charger will charge at a much higher amperage than a bike battery will take. You are looking for .5 to 1 amp max for trickle charging. For standard (1-2 hours) 2 amps ought to get it done.Originally Posted by Airreed
