Only people with a small penis get a bike as big as the XR650R.
    Oh wait, dammit!

Why not go for the 950SM if you want a street tard? They're better looking and more powerful than the new 690 SMC. They added 25-30lbs to the new 690 compared with the old 625.

The electric start on my KTM works better than the one on my Honda BTW.

If I was to think about the 950, I would probably just get the 990 Super Duke, that frakin' bike talks to me.

I don't think I could get used to the front end of that 690 so I will have to see what the future hold for that bike, bet they don't do that for '08.
Seems the SXV is out of the question though, reliability makes that bike a no go.
The Husky is probably the front runner as far as new bikes go, but I am seriously considering letting some one else take the new bike sticker hit and go with a low milage used unit. I am going to look at a KTM 640 this weekend.

The latest (May '07) issue of Cycle World has a great write up on it. 1/4 mile times of 10.76 and great handling. Looks to be a fun bike.

The search for a bike is over, the search for Sumo wheels begins.

How much is Mr. Myers paying you to advertise?

DOT knobbies and rimlocks make for a less than stellar ride at highway speeds, once I get some 17's It'll go like the wind. What gearing are you running?

14/44 is stock for the smr. I am running 13/44 pulls harder and still has a good top end.

Mmmmm... nice. Have to agree on the Super Duke - its on top of my "to-buy" list. Almost did it on Saturday. Nice 525, you going to get a better seat for commuting?
