    Helmets

So what does everyone have/ use for motorcycle helmets? i was thinking of going for a full facal or one of the ones that face flips up such as

    http://roof.fr/produits.php?modele=ro5boxerv

    or

    http://www.ducati.com/shop/product.j...did=prod430037

I really like the combat fighter helmet look. can anyone else point to a good helmet website, or other helmets that look kinda like this

    Thanks

Scorpion exo 700 $139.95 (delivered) Normally goes for maybe

I wear the 400 and really like it. The new 700 has a tinted visor built into it.

I recently heard of someone not having a good experience with it. But it may have been an older model.

I have a Shoei ... and an HJC that was my 2nd helmet that I now use for a back up. I love my Shoei, a bit more noisy than my HJC, but I like the fit better. Key is to try each different style on because they fit each person differently.. (Obviously).. I like the Arai's but don't fit my melon

I also have a Shoei and have crash tested two of them with "good" results. They have a customer for life in me.

Isn't it Arai's that have three different head shape types (Egg, Round, Square) as well as the various standard sizing?

Or am I thinking of another brand?

+1 for Scorpion 700, great lid for the price.

I crashed tested a Shoei with moderate results...I came out fine, but had a concussion. I went with Shark after that and have LOVED my Shark, though I have yet to crash test one (give me a few months, it'll happen). Richard has a Scorpion EX something (I don't know what model) and he loved that as well, and it was a hell of a lot cheaper than my Shark.

I have worn a full face Arai Quantum for 6 years...I love it. I have a round head so Arai fits best. They are pricey though. I am buying an Arai Profile helmet this weekend.

I have a Shoei that I use for local travel. I use Nolan modular for touring and longer rides. The impact test with the Nolan .vs. the "Parkway barrier" was quite successful. I still have it for reflection and replaced it with a newer version for touring. **it is great to be here**

AGV is by far the best helmet I've had yet. It's perfect on noise suppression at high speeds and has excellent padding and vents. It also comes apart easy to wash. Italians got it down, everything from ducatis to birettas

I just purchased a new helmet, here it is.

The chrome one was a little too bling bling for me.

I started out w/ Shoei in 97...but then i tried on an arai and fell in love...have had arai's since 2000 even crash tested it w/ great results...I love arai's, i've also tried on the suomy's and i'd roll those in a heart beat, but they aren't cheap either.
