Damn, now I'm wondering if I should drop the $230 for a handheld GPS unit =/ I have GPS on my phone but it only works when I'm within phone service.

I'll more than likely bring my GPS, just for fun. I have a 6 or 9'(don't remember) krypt. cable I can bring. I'm not worried about it myself, that's what insurance is for.

My plans have changed --- for the better

I will be able to continue this trip through 07/04 as I will be taking time off from the sweat shop that I work in until after the 4th . I will be open to any route changes that may occur .

I also don't have any intentions of falling down. We'll go over ride rules once everyone meets up together (at this point probably in Woodland Park) but the key thing is everyone rides their own pace. If you're slower than whoever is in front of you, so what! They'll have to wait for you to catch up at the next stopping point. This ride will also take a little bit of endurance, so going balls out will only serve to wear you down faster anyway.

That said... The new tires went on the DR this evening along with a couple other upgrades, and I have a couple more happening next week. So, game on.
