Motorcycle Ride To Raise Money For Tyler & Nikko
(CBS4) BERTHOUD, Colo. The Berthoud community has planned to hold a motorcycle ride to help two teenagers who lost their legs in an accident.
Tyler Carron and Nikko Landeros have come a long way in their recoveries, but they face huge medical bills. Both boys are in the process of getting prosthetic legs. The "Poker Run for Tyler and Nikko" will help raise money.
The ride was organized by the Berthoud CARES Campaign. The campaign was established in January after the accident. They hope to have at least 3,000 bikers participate.
"The Berthoud CARES Campaign truly does care about all of the people who have been affected by the tragic accident of January 15," a statement on their Web site said. "And everyone else in our community who might find themselves in need in the future due to accident, illness, or other tragic events."
The "Poker Run for Tyler and Nikko" is May 12.
