    2000 CBR 600 F4

My girlfriend rides a 2000 F4, her ex-boyfriend says he buried the speedo (approx 185mph)...of course she beleives him. Is there a website I can show her specs of a stock F4's top speed? she thinks it will smoke my gixxer750 with the right rider...ha! I just want her to know that her ex was a lier. Any help?

    Try this:

According to Sport Rider, that bike tops out at 156mph.

if you can find out the gear ratios you can figure out its top speed.

depending on the legnth of the race, the 750 should win..

Here's an Excel spreadsheet to calculate gear ratios, etc. It's currently setup for an F4i, should be pretty similar to the F4.

Thanks for the help! It was exactly what I needed! I didnt mean to sound like my bike was all that great, I just didnt like her ex lying to her. (after re-reading my post, I think I sounded a little egotistical) But things are all well now. Once again, thanks!

Of course, if the sprocket sizes have been changed, it would be possible to max the speedo... But it sure as hell wouldn't be close to reality.
