Yes you need to have either taken the pueblo riders course of have proof of training from another place (MRA license, Ricky Orlando course, Jason Pridmore school etc.) that was completed within the last 3 years.

There will be plenty of track time, you'll be tired for sure.

May I ask a serious question -- what magically happens 3 years after having raced or taken a "race school" that all of a sudden makes you unqualified to ride around at a track day?

Its nothing against PMI, its their Insurance. They dont want to do anything that violates their contract and risk closing the track ya know. Its the system man!! haha

Vanmar Racing is still qualifying people as well, and will be doing so Monday and throughout the season. Contact Mark or Tammy Shellinger at Vanmar Racing. (Middle pimpin for some awesome people and sponsors!)

I will be there (for the first time ever on Pueblo) taking Mark's new racer orientation class. From what I understand, his class is limited to just a few people, so if you are interrested you might want to get in touch with him ASAP. Also, he is holding the classroom portion of the orientation at the shop tonight, which I guess makes for maximum time on the track for Monday.

    Re: Pueblo Monday

I will be there with both bike and the camera, if anybody wants pictures just let me know. I'm easy to find - I'm the whitest one off the track (still haven't made it to Mystic Tan), and slowest one on the track. You could pull up next to me when I'm on the track, point to your bike, and continue on your way.

An FYI pulled from the MRA boards:

Posted: Sat May 12, 2007 8:28 am Post subject: PMP Track Condition Update
Everyone planning on going to PMP on Monday (May 14) should be aware that new asphalt has recently been laid in Turn 10 (apparently in just the last few days). As of yesterday (May 11), oil was still seeping through, making the racing surface extremely treacherous. There were a number of crashes in the Star School session even though everyone had been warned and was taking it really, really slow through that section. Hopefully, conditions will improve somewhat by Monday.

    Hey everyone ...

I was the "slow guy" ( ) on the Aprilia taking the racer orientation with Mark.
I saw a couple of people snapping photos and I even saw one guy on the track with a camcorder strapped to his head. Would anyone know who these people are and how I could get in touch with them for some video\photos?

    Thanks a bunch!
