And, that road coming down from Mt. Evans?! OMG...what a piece of trash! Ok, so maybe it was me, but all that gravel and those potholes...sheesh, I was spending more time dodging than leaning. Oh, and so sorry to the couple behind me who mighta seen me freak out on a patch of gravel and almost head off the road. Daemon shoulda been the one behind me at that point...he seems to be wantin' to catch me at my "best".

If that road weren't so full of potholes though, you wouldn't get me off of it...it's one helluva twistie-fun road. Oh, and Bear Creek...before Morrison (I believe) and after Kittredge (I think...basically the area that wasn't full of day-time pinic'ers)...noice!

You need to ride some of the roads down here in the south. I wish the southies did not have to leave early (including myself) but it sounds like the roads were not so good anyway. Our trip through through Deckers on the way to Blackhawk was awsome, only 3 places I remember seeing gravel and the road is in excellent condintion with much of it new since the flood took them out. Till next time, and maybe you can come down here. I will talk with Bash.

certainly a tough road to maneuver through.

she said she was giggling everytime we hit a bump.

He's right, my wife and I just moved up to Highlands Ranch, from Colorado Springs. We took the bike up Deer Creek Canyon yesterday morning, and the roads were in great condition. I used to ride Hwy 24 in the Springs, and ended up white knuckling it around fallen rock on more than one occasion. That and they keep gravel on the road until July, it seems.

I'll def keep an eye open for another group ride.

Great ride, nice meeting so many new folks along with the great ones from past rides.
Was fun taking over the parking lot and resturaunt too.

Sorry didn't get to ride with more of you before or after, but the seasons still young.
Thanks (re-up'd)Ritchie, Cathy, and Dallas for rallying the troops.
