I don't know the brand the clip-ons are (recently bought the bike). They are tight, but I want to make sure they're to spec. What's "typical"?

They're "tight"? Hmmm. You mean the bolt that goes into the end of the clip-on at the triple boss? Mine aren't all that "tight". I just checked my service manual (2000 YZF 600R) and they are 20 ft.-lbs. (28 Nm). Pretty easy to loosen with a socket wrench and the proper hex bit.
