    nope...just the butt zipper.

That is a sweet jacket. I am becomming more of a J.R. fan the more I see. Like I said, the shops out here are seriously lacking in the riding gear dept. I have only seen pics, no one carries Joe Rocket. I did try on a Vanssen jacket, not too bad. Also tried a Alpinestars, it was just o.k.

    Thanks for the input

Anyone know where a larger brotha can get some gear? Everything I've tried on is either too tight across the chest or too short in the sleeve.
People, I would like to announce my retirement from the male modeling profession. I'm pretty sure there's more to life than being really, really good looking; and I plan on finding what that is. Thank you.

    Re: Riding jackets?

I was set on getting a leather jacket but found a study that suggested that for most riders, the added benefit of leather is not worth the cost and hassle. That convinced me that for day to day street riding, textile with CE Armour is fine. Of course, now I'm sweating like crazy on my 82 mile r/t commute and looking for a mesh jacket. Go figure...

Like your ride, the first you buy will probably not be your last.

Unless you eat it... but that goes without saying doesn't it?

    Re: Riding jackets?

Scored a Joe Rocket textile jacket on e bay. It is used but it fits my budget. It is perferated leather on the sleves, shoulders, and upper back, the rest is textile. It has all the armour too. Not sure of the model. It is pretty friggin sweet, got to ride with it yesterday, 100 degrees here and it kept me pretty cool, even at the stop lights.

    Thanks for all the input.

    Cheers,
    Rick
