Where is Mladin... Spies... why don't we see a factory ride for them????

    I call bullshit

Edit: I wouldn't be surprised if he beats Nicky, though. Should have stayed 69-ed... at least you weren't getting F%$#ed.

wow, yeah cause roger has really been puttin it to 'em in the AMA................I agree, Nicky will more than likely be a one hit wonder, but thats better than the majority of the field in MotoGP today. I'd be really happy for RLH if he did well, but i wont be surprised if he's a backmarker like the roberts brothers.

As for Mladin, he used to race in MotoGP back in the early 90's. he has found the cash cow known as AMA and there are no chances of him moving up to GP. Spies on the other hand has been in talks with suzuki about the GP ride, but i dont see them ditching vermulean or hopper, so maybe a third bike? having said that, i think it will be hard for an AMA or a WSBK racer to move up to GP. MotoGP uses the 250 class for its talent pool...............AMA needs to bring back 250's

Not to piss on your premature parade or anything but let me take a quote from Roger Lee today....... "I definitely doubt I can go there and win".

The voices keep saying 26/5/46....26/5/46....can't figure what it means?????

well you tell the voices, anybody but 26, the Spanish Midget.
Midgets run fast......and greasy midgets even faster....hence Rossi.

Well maybe that's tall to you pal......

J/K Scott, I honestly thought Rossi was like 5'6".
But I trust your knowledge better than I do mine.

And Jeffro's right, Dani is a midget....
    A mighty midget...
With the soul of a bull......
And the heart of a Spanish Conquistador......
(And I read he has laser beams for eyes and like an ant he can lift 20 times his own body weight.)

Shit!...am I actually defending a Honda rider?.....I must be sick.

Yea... plus danny is a team player

In the words of Rossi "Fack yo teamwerk"

I agree that the 250's are the talent pool.

I don't think I have ever been so mad after a race than when this happened. I better stop now before I get all worked up again.

I pretty much went appaplectic when that little ewok dove in and screwed the pooch for the WHOLE TEAM. I'm not a big Hayden fan but obviously we all wanted to see some Rossi competition... he's owned motoGP for the last 7 years or so.

Nicky was pissed. This year is going better, other than the absolute strait line dominance from Ducati we are getting to see some real competition out there. Anyone see the doctors new leathers?

Why am I hungry for easter eggs?

I naturally root for all the Americans but none of them have hopes of the Championship. I want Rossi to prove he's the GOAT one more time and win another Championship on the Yamaha even though the Duc is clearly a better/faster animal.

Incidently.. has anyone in recent history been fearful of a Kawi? They underperform so badly the kwakers had to make em 636's just to keep up with thier 599 brotheren.

Hayden's bike situation is looking a lot better now that he got a new frame. He did well in England until he wiped (rain I believe) and very well at Assen.

He's a contender for Laguna, that's his track.

Ask Vermulen, I bet he has a little "fear" in him when he hears a Kawi approaching from behind!

Perhaps. I try to stick to statistics instead of speculation when I can.

    2006 Manufacturers Standings MotoGP
    Pos. Manufacturer Points
    1 Honda 176
    2 Yamaha 127
    3 Ducati 109
    4 Suzuki 64
    5 Kawasaki 57
    6 Team Roberts KR 55

According to last year there is a high probability of having a Roberts bike or a Kawi behind you... though "approaching" seems to be quite generous.

Edit: This year, nothing has significantly changed.

    Re: Roger Hayden at MotoGP

Only a couple points behind Suzuki! Also Honda, Duc, Yamaha have multiple teams compared to Suz & Kawi.

Anyway back to Roger, so ya he's going to dominate

    Re: Roger Hayden at MotoGP

The important thing is that he feels he did a good job.

He will never be a GP contender, his brother is simply solid enough a rider to have lucked into and fought for the points.
