Too much sport drink isn't good, water is the best. Make sure to start hydrating the night before. If you start to dehydrate it isn't easy to catch up during the heat of the day. Preperation is everything.
I already drink quite a lot of water generally (5 or 6 32 oz bottles of water per day) and last time I went through quite a lot at the track before I decided to bail. I also hit the johns a couple of times during the day so I'm pretty sure I was reasonably hydrated (I'm going by the 'if you don't have to pee, you're not drinking enough water' rule of thumb). I figure I might have lost a bunch of electrolites which is why I was thinking gatorade or something similar.
And I wouldn't drink just gatorade. I figure one 32 oz one would be sufficient along with the water I normally drink.

not only if you don't pee, but if it is really dark. If you stop peeing or stop sweating, you're in trouble.

Lets all go to IMI sunday there is plenty of room for us and the liter bikes can hit top speed on the back straight.. PMI is alot better track for you guys why do you hang out at IMI? Ya don't see me at PMI on my supermoto bike. The less ya post about imi the less crowded it will be
Yea Steve is a little slow about replying but we will have a sponcer and tires for the Junction race..Don't mean to sound like a ass but tired of all the so called racers at IMI(if they get the balls to go to a real track they would stop talking about IMI)
Hope you can give us a bit of a break here Jim.
I'm sure many of the folks would rather ride a larger track like PMI.
Personally, I don't have the luxury of driving down to Pueblo that often. Not that I go to IMI that often anyways, but if my choices are street and IMI, I'd rather do IMI knowing that it's safer there. I'm sure if CDR/SCR were still open, people would be flocking there rather than IMI.
Finally, part of the fun is going with people you know, which is why people post to see who's going. Not sure that's really going to change much until we have that new track near Denver.

I know, I am just having some fun ,fuckin around with the rookies... ImI is a rookie track.. Its frustrating to go on a track that small with sportbikes the SM bikes can't get up to speed
Hope I get to see ya race next time. Hope you got those brakes fixed?
BTW, I shot videos of Adam and Dave last time. You might be in there for that one lap you rode. Check with Adam, I gave him the DVD.

wow, I was going to take my Superbike to IMI to have some fun but I guess since i dont fit 'your' definition of a 'racer' I should just go to PMI and try not to fall into the 2" cracks in every turn
I know of an AMA racer that recently tested at PMI (had never been there before) and all he could say about the track was 'WFT is this POS?"
It is what it is
CLARKIE you gonna be there man? I hope to see everyone there!
full day of dyno work tomorrow
It is what it is
They go to IMI because PMI usually doesn't have ay track time available on the weekends!!! But you should already know that since your an expert racer Krod.......
