Well it was going to happen some time. At least I was going slow. Didn't do to much to the bike. Another great video by slo1299. I felt something like this right before while and after.

At least your bike didn't have too much personality afterwards. Crazy how you were hanging onto the bike even after you went down!!!!

pretty lucky it continued to slide out like that... losing the rear usually means flight time

I would imagine thats exactly what my SM looked like when I wrecked it... that sucks, man! Glad I had left by then. You guy were pretty quick out there. Any pics of the bike?

I think that If I didn't go wide that wouldn't have happened.

Yeah, there is a lot of gouges along the outer half of that turn, thought there looked to be a greasy spot. Thought it could have been just in my head so I try to avoid that area since I had already been down on the same turn along with a couple of others already.

Glad you didn't get hurt Leo.

    That puppy just let loose.
Were you on the rear brake or downshifting?

That's what happens when you have 36+ lbs in your tires

you are exactly right... keep in mind being 'off line' is going to have

    1) zero or negative camber
    2) very little rubber or heat from other vehiles
    3) crap, dust and dirt not cleaned off because of other riders never riding in that area, accumlation of scrubbed off rubber (aka marbles)... think cartoons... marbles under the feet = not good things

And if you did have 36lbs in the rear yea that would do it to lol

Tire pressure is as important as a helmet on a track... it really is that crutial.

No, no down shifting or on the brake. Just a little gas.
