    Bike Night @ Twin Peaks....

Well the turnout was okay in total. Not many from CSC but a few of us showed up. It was okay...free dyno runs, hot dogs, soda. Stunters able to do their thing without worry about cops and burnout competition. Here are some photos from the night...oh and of course it would not be a real bike night withought a handful of squids rollin in too

    The bikes

    Dan's Dyno Run

    Jason's Dyno Run

    Stunters

    Burnout Competition

and yes Jason won a trophy for the best HP on a 600cc class bike....way to go Jason

Overall good time hanging out and seeing bikes. I think the highlight was seeing this guy on a new Gixxer 1000 wheeling like crazy and very, very smooth at it. He parked and took his helmet off....they guy could be my grandpa...TOO COOL

    Awesome pics Curtis. Thanks.

Doesn't surprise me the dumbass with the $800 helmet would be the one out there burning up his tire.

Gotta powerwash my mesh jacket just to get all of the bugs out of it from the ride up there.

I have bugs stuck in places I never knew were possible. Cleaned everything before we left and now it is just covered. Gotta love Weld County and irrigated fields

wish it was posted sooner, (the post about the dyno thing) or I would have made plans to go. By the time I read it, I was already at work and too late to make it. By the way, so what was his HP #s on the kaw?

99.6... other 600s were pulling 91-96. The guy said the air sucked back in their shop where the dyno was, he guessed it was 8hp low. Towards the end of the day it was around 20 off.

What, no picture of my dyno run Curtis?

J/K I wouldn't have stood over there to take a picture of my loud ass bike either.
If God told me I was going to die riding a motorcycle, I'd still ride.
If he told me I was going to die in my sleep, I'd become an insomniac.

At least he had a helmet, the other guy in that burnout pic doesn't

Yeah I know some of you might say it was just a burnout, but about two years ago my friend totalled his bike and got knocked unconsious (IMO would be dead right now without a helmet) doing a burnout. Just ask Hoopty, he saw it all!!!

Nice job winning the 600cc class. They put me in there since I couldn't hit the 1000cc's. Then somebody complained because I was winning....just can't win. I believe the 8hp off, I'd really like the 20hp off!
