He is now officially doomed to being a "development rider" for the next X number of years. Just when he got the Suzuki ALMOST contending too.

He's one of my favorite riders and shows pure talent rarely seen from other riders...now if he could just get a REAL bike.

I agree with Rybo. I'm going to have to bitch slap Hopper while I'm at the races. He is a good pick up for Kawi but he has done so much development for Suzuki that it seems idiotic to want to go do that for Kawi now. I guess everybody has their price. If I was a GP rider, I would love to come over and ride the Suzuki now.....

Honestly I think everyone is suprised by the Kawi's this year. West and Randy are not "top-notch" GP riders but the bike has shown it can be very competitive even with a B-level Rider.

Hopper is going to really open some eyes on the new ZXRR and I think after years at Suzuki with no sucess, Hopper needed a change of enviroment.

Now as soon as they sign L. Caparrossi things will be just like the other side of the fence...."GREENER!"

I guess Roger's hopes of getting a slot for '08 are quickly disappearring. I believe Nicky and Rossi are tied up through '08. Anyboby know who will be "free agents" at the end of this season? Just trying to eye Suzuki's prospects.

Rossi, Stoner, Hayden and Hopkins are the ONLY riders in the paddock with confirmed rides for next season. Everyone else is fair game.

As will all racing, I tend to be rider loyal as opposed to brand loyal. Everybody jumps around so much that I root for who I like as a rider and personality and nationality. I'll still root for Hopper and all the Americans. Pedrosa could jump over to Suzuki and I would still dislike the midget.

From a fan point of you, I don't think this is a good move... I wonder if he was pretty much forced on this one by Monster?

He was making great strides with the GSVR this year. He's actually sticking with the front runners for a lot of the races.

I think it would have been smart for him to stick with Suzuki.

Could you imagine what Hopkins and Capparossi would do for Kawasaki? Podiums every race!
