Looks like I may be able to come since my plans changed and I'll be in town this weekend. I can sweep if it's needed.

Yes but can you sweep really really slow people?

Ill hit it up if you have some room
If it works out that we have enough sweepers, I may ride at different spots in the group after each rest stop. Follow anyone who wants coaching advise, etc.

Thinking about this one... I'd like to go, though I am oncall for work. Hrm.
IF I can go, I am happy to lead or sweep.

Ah screw it, I'll come... I'm down to lead still but I could certainlty use a map just so I'm sure of the route.
Brian, I'll join you guys and help out however needed.

"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self- preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property, and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

I will try and make this one since I haven't been on a group ride in quite some time. Probably a good idea if I sweep as well or remain in the newest group and at the back.....
If anyone is actually keeping track (of the noobes), I regretfully need to withdrawal. Free tickets to the Telluride Jazz Festival; couldn't pass it up.
I was really looking forward to meeting some of the unique "characters" that post on this board! Not to mention, I feel like I'm at the point to were I could use a few tips from an experienced rider.
If anyone is north or west of Denver (I'm in Boulder, but flexible) and willing to compromise their personal ride for educational reasons on another day; I'll gladly buy you a beer.

Man, I wish I had my bike back together. Guess I'll have to get it going this winter so I can do lots of miles next year.

ill try to make it up there
Pretty new to the forum, (have only met one person from the forum) but if this ride goes from Morrison up towards Lyons I would like to join it. I've been riding for a few years now but haven't ridden in many groups so a newbie group might be a good way to start. I have to work at 2pm so I may cut out about half way or so.
