    Turn signals sticking "on"

I've been having this problem on and off w/ my seca turbo. If you're at a stoplight, holding the brake, and the turnsignal is on, the turnsignal lights will stay on and stop flashing. If you let go of the brake it begins to flash again. Am i looking at, dead flasher box?, incorrect wattage brakelights?, or low output from the charging/alternator system?

If you rev the bike (with the brakes on) does it start to flash again?

If i rev it up, it'll turn off and begin flashing, when it returns to idle, it "sticks" again. Charge coil??

You lack juice at idle. Check the output of the battery before anything else.
Not a shred of evidence exists in favor of the idea that life is serious.

I had what i thought was an unrelated problem with the fuel pump/warning relay. The warning lights that are supposed to be off when the bike was running were turning on while the bike was at idle. I put in a new battery to see if this would remedy the problem, and it didn't. Jumping the fuel pump relay solved that problem (albeit temporarily). I'm starting to lean more and more towards the brushes being bad in my alternator/generator.

Check all of your wiring related to the charging system and battery - make sure the connections are tight and not corroded.

I made sure to check wiring when i looked for the generator. Everything is free of corrosion, and the connectors in good shape (especially considering they're 22 years old) The way this is acting reminded me of when the brushes in my car's alternator wore down and wouldn't make enough power to charge the battery. I'm going to try replacing those and see if that's the case.

I checked voltages on the relay and the battery today... They were very very low. 10 volts across the relay, rising to 12 when the engine was revved to 4k and only 11.5 at idle on the battery, rising to 13.2 or so when revved to 4k. Still unsure as to what the hell is going on? I have ordered new brushes for the generator as a precaution.
