    That bounced too.

Oh well, it's not very impressive. I did it in between plotting dwg's so, it's very basic...

Haven't raced at any, and have only ridden IMI. Proportionally, it just kinda looks like it's mostly straightaways, with a couple of turns on the ends. Although, I liked watching at Willow Springs big track, and it looks sorta similar with the straights, but with the elevation in different spots. The elevation should make things interesting though.

Funny you should mention that, I designed the cars for the physical game. Don't mind the quick stick-figures!

Re: CAMA / New Track Layout!

Well, it took me about an hour, in between plotting dwg's, to build the 3D model of the track. I've spent the last two days trying to figure out how to shrink the movie file. The smallest I could get it was 11.8mb. The photo realistic render was 105megs!!

I would like to continue to play with this file and add the pits and some buildings and trees for the "speed" effect. I'll probably add to it as I find time.

Still gotta figure out how people make 4 minute videos that are around 1meg.

So here it is, quick and dirty!! Hope ya got broadband...

That's pretty cool Dean-O. I hope whenever you get it to the point where you're happy with it, that you'll let the "powers" use it, as part of their capital fund raising.

Well... I have been know to be available for hire on stuff like this...

Seriously, though. How do I get a small file size without shit canning the quality?!? I know a little about CODEC's and all the ones I've tried come out at the same size.

There is always a "sighting" lap taken between pregrids and final grids, so every track does this, even if there is direct access to the grid location.

"sighting" meaning once around to get the lay of the land before one grids? And if so, what if one is running late for final grids~~ as I've heard some do? Just curious, thanks for the input.
